Astellas Prostate Cancer Viber Chatbot for Greek Patients

This campaign has been developed by Astellas with the objective of enhancing public knowledge and providing useful information to patients with Prostate Cancer and their caregivers.

The Viber chatbot platform will offer easily accessible content, guidance, risk factor information, and prompts encouraging individuals to consult a healthcare professional. By leveraging a digital communication channel with wide reach and user-friendly functionality, we aim to deliver impactful health messaging directly to the public.

The Viber Chatbot will provide a digital tool that will inform the users for Prostate Cancer. With small and quick messages, the aim is to provide useful information regarding diagnostics and management of prostate cancer, send reminders of important dates for check-ups and in general create an awareness on the disease.

Cookie policy, Privacy Notice and any type of Consent are being managed by Viber itself – when a user is registering for use of this application, they are confirming their preferences.

There’s no access to individual information on the subscribers, Astellas or its vendors will not be collecting nor will have access to any privacy details of the subscribers.

In order for the chatbot to identify how many unique users are enrolled their unique Viber IDs will be disclosed to the chatbot algorithm. However the ID itself cannot be linked to any specific physical individual. Even Viber platform cannot track back and connect Viber’s IDs with Viber’s users.
